Pair of Oil Paintings – Naval Cadets

Look at these adorable troublemakers, training for mayhem and slaughter. This pair of paintings are fairly small so they could fit well into a smaller apartment space or room.

From the seller:

Pair 18th. century Period Oil Paintings on Canvas. Portrait Study of Two Naval Cadet Brothers. Painted in 1799 by Richard Livesay 1750-1823. Given the age of the two brothers in 1799 they could have well took part in the battle of Trafalgar 1805.

19th Century – Stations of the Cross

A beautiful and very well preserved set of 14. Look at that gold leaf!

From the seller:

Stunning antique set of 14 19th century church-sized Stations of the Cross. Hand painted on canvas by Adolphe Alcan of Paris, and housed in painted gothic-style carved wood frames. The photos only show a few of them. All are in good antique condition, suitable for use and display.

Victorian Country House Hall Stand

Love love love the intricate craved details and sturdiness of this piece. It’s versatile in so many ways, and screams “Not Ikea”.

From the seller:

Dating from the mid Victorian period, this substantial hallstand is constructed from solid English oak. It has a lion mask pediment over mirrored and wooden peg fitted back with central lower cupboard, flanked by stick stands to either side. The stand is in fine vintage condition and free from woodworm.

The coat stand measures 138 cm (54 in) wide by 237 cm (93 1/4 in) tall and 46 cm (18 in) deep. Please contact us with any questions before bidding or buying.
