A very rare and beautifully detailed c.1790 painted armorial coach panel featuring a plethora of heraldic symbols. A stylised donkey, eagle, and gryffin adorn the top of the panel. Below, a dragon and two rampant stags surround a coat of arms decorated throughout with gold leaf. The scroll at bottom reads "Honor Fidelitatis Praemium" (Honour is the Reward of Loyalty). Original oil paint on wood. Ready to hang and retains original hanging loop.
