This lovely 19th century oil painting on canvas features a cavalier and his bride at their wedding. Mounted on board and indistinctly signed on the lower right corner. Storage related distress to the paint on the lowest portion of the painting. Original French artist supply label "J. Boyer" verso. We think that this distress looks a bit like cobwebs, so this could make a fantastic part of any haunted house display!
