An illustrated guide to predicting the future and analysing the personality through careful study of the hand. William John Warner, popularly known as Cheiro (November 1, 1866 – October 8, 1936), was an Irish astrologer and colourful occult figure of the early 20th century. His sobriquet, Cheiro, derives from the word cheiromancy, meaning palmistry. He was a self-described clairvoyant who learned palmistry, astrology, and Chaldean numerology in India during his stay there.

8vo. Green cloth boards with black stamping to front cover and spine. Some small marks to front cover. Light shelf wear to edges of spine and covers. Corners slightly bumped. Internal pages lightly toned and occasionally foxed, otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding tight.
