An original c.1824 anatomical engraved plate out of John Lizars' 'System of Anatomical Plates of the Human Body'. Plate VII, depicting hand and arm bones. Foxing commensurate with age. Ready for a frame of your choice or to hang as is.

Provenance: Previously the property of Sir William Whitla, who gifted this to the well-known anatomist and zoologist John Symington. Symington left it to Queen's University Library after his death, and it subsequently resided in the Bishop's Palace of Kilmore.
