John Brand (19 August 1744 – 11 September 1806) was an English antiquarian and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. This edition features contributions from Sir Henry Ellis, principal librarian at the British Museum.

8vo (6.5" x 5"). Half-calf with textured leather boards. Gilt decoration with raised bands gilt and lettering to spine. Some rubbing and wear to spine and cover edges. Previous owners' inscriptions on pastedown. Some foxing to title page. Light foxing and toning to interior pages. No tears or defects. Binding still very tight. Overall a very good copy.
