A regal mid-19th century Parian ware bust by Edward William Wyon (British, 1811-1885), inscribed verso 'C. Stephenson' and 'E W Wyon F'. Mounted on mahogany base.
E.W. Wyon is a well-known sculptor who exhibited frequently at the Royal Academy of London and designed several famous architecural monuments. His work is featuerd in the British Museum and the National Museum of Scotland.
