Our Founder

Alexandra Jones

Alexandra is a lifelong antiquarian who enjoys nothing more than hunting for rare and wondrous objects. She spent her early career working in provenance research for Nazi-era art theft restitution, before taking up intelligence positions with organisations based in the USA, Middle East, and Europe. Alexandra studied Art History at Miami University of Ohio and attained an MA in European History at the University of Glasgow. She is now based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Today, eco-organisations collect 1.3 million tonnes of modern furniture waste. Nearly half of it is non-reusable, non-repairable and non-recyclable and is burned in incinerators or buried in landfills.

Antique and vintage decor can be repaired, refinished, and recycled for multiple uses.
