A classical portrait of a theologian in a red academic sash with a rather impressive set of mutton chops . Oil on canvas, signed by artist John Peddie (1857-1925) and dated 1923. Peddie completed the portrait for Westminster College in Cambridge, where the sitter is was a professor.
