First Edition. A scarce Victorian example of this marvellous book which teaches all the secrets of the magician's trade. 133 small black and white illustrations, as well as 14 pages of vintage advertisements at the rear.
8vo (Crown). Publisher's green cloth on hardcover with illustration on front cover and black stamping to spine. Cover and spine edges rubbed. Corners bumped. Small nicks to front cover. Light foxing on title page, toning to pages. Binding tight, pages clean and free of markings.
